 Oatlands

Another couple of tracks to help Seren get accustomed to the grounds here. Partly cloudy, low 60’s, wind 8-10mph, low humidity.

1st track, age 2hr15min, had woods, stream, tall grass, steep hill, board fence. She did well - only problem area was the fence. She indicated the turn, but wasn’t sure she was allowed to go thru the fence. After she finally was convinced it was ok, she did a great job of waiting for me to get thru & then restarting the track.

2nd track, 2hr old. had 1 turn in tall grass. She overshot the turn by ~8-10ft before LOS indication, but found the turn again pretty easily.

North Park Library Seren only today. She had an article in the woods track, 3 hours old. All articles except start (which wasn’t in the woods) had food in them & had food 10-20 steps after. She tracked quite well, I thought. Needed reminder lie down at a couple of the articles (at least as quickly as I would like), so I don’t plan to leave the food out any of them just yet. Did not seem averse to lying down in the woods, tho. https://youtu.be/CZjVFmqwbxs?feature=shared

Judi’s woods & hayfield Seren had a 3 turn track entirely in the woods. Five articles + start & end, all with food in them. I was very happy with this track. The combination of food in articles & random lie downs in the woods seems to be working as she downed for every article on her own. We’ll see how it goes when I start to decrease the number of articles with food in them video: https://youtu.be/dAPfu-as8Rk?feature=shared Dylan did a 3 turn tracks in the hayfield, utilizing the bowl area. He needed a verbal cue for start article, but other 2 were automatic. Very nice start & turns. https://youtu.be/DX8JJ- WdqDc?feature=shared
