Each dog had a 2 turn track with focus on age

Dylan’s track was 2 hours old & mildly contaminated - it looked like some soccer had been played on the field over the weekend. I thought he did an excellent job. I started letting line out to 20’ a bit toward the end.

Seren’s track was 4 hours old, had at least one cross track (on 2nd leg). Her start was slow - I think she got used to food at the start article faster than I expected. Even tho it wasn’t very windy, the wind was gusting from right to left & pushing the scentup against the fence. She seemed very sure of where she was going, so I went with it. Once she got to the bare dirt, gusts had diminished & she was right on the rest of the way. Stopped & indicated about 6 ft before end article. I told her to keep on &she did

North Park Library Seren only today. She had an article in the woods track, 3 hours old. All articles except start (which wasn’t in the woods) had food in them & had food 10-20 steps after. She tracked quite well, I thought. Needed reminder lie down at a couple of the articles (at least as quickly as I would like), so I don’t plan to leave the food out any of them just yet. Did not seem averse to lying down in the woods, tho. https://youtu.be/CZjVFmqwbxs?feature=shared

Judi’s woods & hayfield Seren had a 3 turn track entirely in the woods. Five articles + start & end, all with food in them. I was very happy with this track. The combination of food in articles & random lie downs in the woods seems to be working as she downed for every article on her own. We’ll see how it goes when I start to decrease the number of articles with food in them video: https://youtu.be/dAPfu-as8Rk?feature=shared Dylan did a 3 turn tracks in the hayfield, utilizing the bowl area. He needed a verbal cue for start article, but other 2 were automatic. Very nice start & turns. https://youtu.be/DX8JJ- WdqDc?feature=shared
