 Hanover Courthouse

Dylan only today. Four starts  - 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes age. Mix of familiar & unfamiliar articles.

More interested than usual in this location with cars going by, I hink the noise of tires on wet roads was a factor. No video for #2 - I didn’t forget this time, but it was pouring rain then & my finger stuttered on the button, causing me to turn it back off as soon as I turned it on🤷‍♂️

I was pleased with his articles, didn’t seem to care about rain, age did not appear to be a factor

  1. Love how you used the space to fit in four starts! Track 1 - so many things about this one that I liked! Good decision not letting him linger too long staring at the cars and narrowing his options at the turn - great job using the recall, etc. and keeping your poise in that moment with strategies to support him at being successful in that moment! Boy were his indications snappy - nice! He wasn't crazy about the car/noise?but he did a great job working through it! One word of caution...you mention in your notes that age was not a factor, but when I watch the first leg of those three tracks, it looks to me like it may have been a factor - not one that he didn't do a great job processing and working through - in large part because of how you supported him, but still just something to file away as your plan your tracks for him. Nice commitment in getting in a rainy session!

  2. I LOVE how you handled his concern on Track 1 and supported him. He looked very nice, especially LOS and article indication. Good observation about how he initially searches for Leg 1 in direction of approach. Be mindful about this and continue approaches from different directions and perhaps restrict line at the start to narrow the search radius (unless that offends him). Great job - especially with the rain- and I agree with your plan for an easy next track away from roads.
