Seren had a two turn track mainly for me to work on line handling at turns. Small scent challenge at end with article down a small hill to chain link fence. Unplanned challenge with runner & loose dog crossing track multiple times & going right down 1st leg - took place ~ 30 minutes after track was laid.
Seren had to work at the contaminated areas, especially the start - you can see the runner’s tracks in the dew on the video to the right of mine - but figured it out. Did not overshoot either turn today, & seems to be getting more comfortable with me letting out lots of line before moving. I am also getting better at moving back up to 10’ promptly.

Dylan had a 3 turn track. First leg went diagonally up a small hill & past some football equipment. Last leg went along the edge of a drop-off down to the road. Two dog walkers appeared to cross track, unsure where
I thought this went quite well. The dog walkers did not appear to cross his track, but the loose dog with the runner did on 1st leg, & ate a lot of the food drops. This from looking at tracks in dew. Dylan was able to work through the contaminated area. He is much more comfortable with me moving up & down the line than he was initially. He did not appear to be affected by the little hills.

Damn it. I commented on you and Emaline while driving to PA, and none of them posted. Hope this one does. I love that she’s getting more confident making the turns without you cueing her. Now…..When she gives you LOS, please turn in the opposite direction of the turn, and let her work. The first time, this may/will really throw her (it did Jack, Fletch, and Gus). And then….they seem to get a shot of confidence. Fletch is now finding the new legs faster and earlier! If you’d like to do this the first time with me, let me know. We can arrange that😉
