 Taylor Park

My goal for Seren was to have a track that was relatively easy but not boring. I made her a 4 turn track with 2 hangman turns & ran it at one hour. She did quite well. Checked right first at all turns, but didn’t really try to go that way if it was in fact a left turn. I was pleased.

Dylan did a 4 turn track, much like a regulation TD except 1 food drop /leg & I moved up to 10’ behind him between turns. Age 30 min. He did very well, was not bothered by the distance at all.

  1. Seren’s track was gorgeous. Not only did she look happy and confident, she looked happier and more confident as the track progressed—stronger on the last leg than the first. Awesome. Now….how about looking back over the last year. Look at all of your tracks. 2 columns: age and quality of tracking. Maybe a scale of 1-5 (what she did today is a 5). Let’s look at data.

  2. Dylan: first turn. You stopped at the flag, didn’t wait for him to give you LOS, second turn a tiny bit better, but you still stopped before he did. Third turn was nice, he gave LOS and you responded to his cue. And fourth turn was textbook perfect. Nice job!
