 North Park Library. Seren only today. Short, 2 turn track that went into the woods. Two intermediate articles with food, start & end articles no food. Age 4 hours

I was pretty happy with this. Scent appeared to do some weird things beside building at top of small slope on 1st leg, but she handled it well. Articles in woods were lovely. At 1st turn, indicated & went in correct direction (would I have know this on a blind track?) but then appeared to lose confidence, came back & checked around some more, ultimately came back to the left turn. Second turn was made confidently. 

Even tho these were pretty nice open woods, I still managed to get tangled up, trip over logs, step in holes, etc. Even got my biothane line caught in a tree trunk??? But I think I mostly succeeded in being still until she definitively showed me the track.

    I liked this. I think on a blind track you would have stopped when she doubted herself, and then been very grateful that she only indicated in the same direction after she checked the wrong decisionšŸ˜‰. She never tried to go the wrong way, so I suspect you’d have found it confirming when she went, checked, and went again. You two were again lovely. You letting her make the decision is making a big difference in her confidence .

 North Park Library Seren only today. She had an article in the woods track, 3 hours old. All articles except start (which wasn’t in the woods) had food in them & had food 10-20 steps after. She tracked quite well, I thought. Needed reminder lie down at a couple of the articles (at least as quickly as I would like), so I don’t plan to leave the food out any of them just yet. Judi’s woods & hayfield Seren had a 3 turn track entirely in the woods. Five articles + start & end, all with food in them. I was very happy with this track. The combination of food in articles & random lie downs in the woods seems to be working as she downed for every article on her own. We’ll see how it goes when I start to decrease the number of articles with food in them video: https://youtu.be/dAPfu-as8Rk?feature=shared Dylan did a 3 turn tracks in the hayfield, utilizing the bowl area.
